Selling to Budget-Conscious Corporate Clients

By Shirley Frazier
Sweet Survival®/GiftBasketBusiness.com

Need quick help to capture corporate accounts who happen to be on a budget?

Here an idea that's turned some of my prospects into long-term buyers.

Offer snack products added to a tote bag lined with festive tissue paper.

The product selection can be a mix of nuts, mints, toffee, tea, coffee, cappuccino, a mug and chocolate-covered pretzels.

Add curling ribbon to one of the handles on each side of the bag.

Depending on the selected products, each gift's price can range from $10 to $12 retail and bring you $5 or more in profit.

Designers have successfully sold these simple, yet elegant gifts to many corporate clients, including insurance agents, physicians, teachers, and bank managers.

This type of sale is also one of my success stories. Professionals who provide me with service love this quick and effective gift, especially when their budget cannot include an actual basket as part of the gift.
